¶Recording the shooting of Police Sergeant Sewell near the Liverpool Road by a wanted man. Below a brief account is a long 2-column poem in the old fashioned style. The poem points out that ‘we could not live without’ the police and seeks sympathy for the victim and his family if he has one. Not in BL; NLS copy recorded by COPAC.
