Text extended from 404 to 408pp. Coleridge was a devotee of the teachings of Archbishop Robert Leighton, 1611-84, the Scottish preacher and theologian, and draws heavily on him in this volume of aphorisms. This copy bears the ownership details of the renowned English barrister and Christian Socialist, Edward Vansittart Neale, 1810–1892.
