¶ESTC T42581. This is the reissue, with the front. port. by Gainsborough retouched, an enlarged Life and erratum on p.185. Thompson refers to Wilkes, Churchill, the Medmenham Monks & described Whitehead as a Republican. The Dedication is to Sir Francis Dashwood (of 'Hell-Fire' fame), Whitehead's patron. One new poem first published here is the Gymnasiad, a satire on the 'brutish custom of boxing'.
