¶Not in Wolff. First published in 1853. TCD records a 'sixth thousand', giving the date [1853?]. 'The MSS. from which the following pages are compiled, were put into our hands a few months ago, with the request that we would arrange them for publication, in the hope that the facts thus made known might lead to the discovery of the forsaken child's parents or kindred, and unravel the secret of her birth.'
