¶First published as Die Gefahren der Frauen-Emancipation in 1892. A counter argument to the women's emancipation movement. Crepaz, 1849-1919, praises the traditional family unit, and outlines the inevitable decline in societal harmony should it be eroded. With a long pencil note on the leading pastedown in a contemporary hand, in which an anonymous critic shows little sympathy with the author's conservative viewpoint: 'It does not do to allow one principle to outweigh every other. We most of us feel that individual liberty is a good thing ...'.
