'These BLACK TALES for WHITE CHILDREN, being a collection of Swahili Stories, have been translated and arranged by Capt. C.H. Stigand, interpreter in Swahili and author of "The Land of Zizi", and Mrs. C.H. Stigand, and have been translated by John Hargave, author of "Lonecraft."' Hargrave, 1894-1982, was Head Man of the Kibbo Kift and stands therefore as one of twentieth-century Britain's great mystics.
